Leadership, Systems, and Strategy for Small Organizations

John’s mission is to shine the light of Christ to the world through his work of bringing clear thinking and practical systems of leadership to small organizations. He believes that small businesses reach more people daily than churches; therefore, it is imperative to create strong and successful ambassadors for Christ.

John has served as an operational leader in public service roles, retiring as sergeant in a mid-size police department and second in command of a smaller-sized police department. Prior to, then concurrent with that, John served in a leadership role in the U.S. Army, serving on overseas deployments, including combat in Iraq.

John has also held relevant private sector roles, such as owning and running a commercial finance company (providing loans to businesses that banks wouldn’t touch, through a network of non-traditional lenders), a successful and growing Main Street health and wellness clinic, and a non-profit coffee shop, on which he serves as Treasurer on the Board.

John currently teaches Principles of Management and Organization (a course he developed) at Barclay College. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Business Administration from Edgewood University. He is passionate about smaller businesses, and he is committed to their success. He is even more committed to growing the Kingdom of God. (Matthew 6:33)
